The nearly 58,000 names listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC do not include the men and women who have died since because of their service.
It does not include those who were injured and succumbed to complications from their wounds in the years following the war. It does not include those who developed diseases and died because of the chemicals they were exposed to. It does not include those who suffered from PTSD because of their tours of duty and killed themselves.
It does not include them, but that does not mean you should forget them.
